Welcome to the Team!

Lyme Shores would like to welcome our newest full time Tennis Teaching Professional Tereza Bekerova! ?
 
Tereza will be joining our tennis teaching staff working with our junior and adult programming. She is available for lessons upon request.
Tereza started playing tennis at the age of four with her mother, a tennis professional herself in a small club in Prague, Czech Republic. Tereza competed across Europe, always ranking among the top three players in her age division nationally and top 100 ITF. She began playing professionally on the WTA tour at eighteen. After two years on the WTA tour, she earned a scholarship to the University of Utah, where she played number one singles and doubles, achieving high NCAA rankings in both. Tereza received yet another scholarship to study Sport & Exercise Science from Leeds Beckett University in England, where she completed her Masters Degree. Tereza has gained valuable experience around the world at the highest levels as both coach and player.

Pickleball Ladder Leagues!

Pickleball Ladder Leagues!

Starting Sunday, October 1st our first session of our Pickleball Ladder Leagues will begin! Membership is required to participate. The session will run for 10 weeks from October 1st through December 17th. We will offer three different levels of play. Games are first to 15 points.

  • 2.5 Ladder: 9 – 10:30 AM
  • 3.0 Ladder: 10:30 – 12 PM
  • 3.5 Ladder: 12 – 1:30 PM

Pickleball: Back to School Social!

Pickleball: Back to School Social!

Lyme Shores Racquet Club is hosting a Pickleball Back to School Social on Saturday, September 9th. Tammie Pierson will be organizing the event.  It will be a round robin format running from 1-4pm. Registration is required to attend. It will cost $15 for members and non-members. So bring a family member, bring a friend to our pickleball back to school social!

Junior Placement Day!

Junior Placement Day!

On Saturday, August 26th Lyme Shores Racquet Club will be hosting our 1st Annual Junior Placement Day. This is when registration will open for our junior tennis session one program. This is for any new or returning players! If you are unsure of what level or program to register for, this is the event for you! Any one that registers for our junior session one program that day will receive a 2023-24 complimentary junior tennis membership. Active Kids Day!

Active Kids Day!

Lyme Shores Racquet Club will be hosting our first annual Active Kids Day on Sunday, July 23rd. This is a FREE event for kids ages 5-14! We will have activities planned throughout the morning. This includes access to our pool as well as our BRAND NEW 200 FOOT ZIP-LINE! Registration is required to participate. We will be raffling a single day of our Multi-Sport Camp of your choice! So bring a family member, bring a friend to our first annual Active Kids Day EVENT!
